The society in China is divided into the ruling class and the working class. During the Shang dynasty(1523-1027BC) The Ruling class consist of kings, priests and nobles and the working class consist the common people. During the Zhou dynasty(1027-321BC) The Ruling class is still the same but the working class is divided into scholars, peasants, craftsman and merchants. During the Qin Dynasty, the Shi class was less powerful and no longer own land and army, During the Han dynasty, it began scholar class. positions were no longer hereditary. To become a Shi, one had to pass Civil Service Exams

India Society.

There is a clear definition of role in society in India. People in India could not move on to another class even they had the talent. There was no social mobility in India. The untouchables in India were quite a pity as they were not allowed to contact if other classes. They we like off from the society. The caste system in India is divided into provinces.
